The most common spiders we see here in FNQ in our houses are the daddy long legs, bubble and the Huntsman Spider. Finding a Huntsman in the house can be a scary experience, but it is a household friendly spider that does a wonderful job of keeping flies and mosquitos in check. Outside is the Golden Orb weaver. These spiders weave an Orb-web with very strong strands and often have a yellow sheen in sunlight. They are non aggressive and non toxic.
